A slightly bizarre post here. Looking at my blog stats the top search items that led people to this blog are “shouwang Jehovah’s witnesses.” I’m guessing some people have been confused by the name ShouWang (meaning Watchtower) and have wanted to know if it is a Jehovah’s Witness church. It is not.
The second line of ShouWangs’s statement of faith says:
We believe in one true God: the almighty creator, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the trinue God of glory.
Jehovah’s Witnesses have a long history dating back (at least in their ideas) to the Arian heresy in the fourth century AD. Their greatest error is that they do not live up to their name, for they fail to bow the knee and witness to the LORD Jehovah who came down to earth, becoming a man who died and rose again in glory. (Isaiah 45:23-24, Philippians 2:10-11).
May the day come soon when both the Government of China and Jehovah’s Witnesses – who both cause great damage to the church bought with the blood of God – bow the knee to the eternal and glorious Son of God!
