Why we need Easter

In the last few days Carol, from Beijing, sent a message saying that the two year old child of a Christian friend fell from their apartment on the 20th floor.

Also a friend emailed about the sudden and unexpected death of a husband and father in their church.

Death is a terrible enemy, but we give thanks that it was defeated by Jesus when he rose from the dead, and we give thanks that his resurrection means our resurrection is more than a vague hope, but rather a glorious certainty.
